Monitoring of Electrophysiological Responses Related to Environmental Changes produced by Home Automation Technology and Immersive Environments and Living Labs

The project is aimed at the creation of a monitoring system of cognitive variations through event-related EEG responses and modifications of other stress-related biological parameters recorded with wearable wireless systems, induced by environmental changes obtainable with innovative domotic technologies.

Protom activity

In collaboration with partners, the specific functional, interaction and use requirements of virtual scenarios have been determined, aimed at making the use of devices for physical exercise rewarding and engaging, in particular, components have been studied and created for the integration of market systems for use connected to VR scenarios, furthermore the activities concerned the study of integration from devices for detecting emg signals.

Accomplished results

Availability of a demonstrator relating to an integrated system that can be installed and replicated in residential or residential contexts, characterized by innovative services that are not particularly expensive, since they are realised, as in the case of the promotion of physical activity with commercial products (exercise bikes and monitors) adapted to offer innovative services, thanks to the use of low-cost technologies.
