The project aims to the protection of the environment and marine resources with the innovation of the maritime and shipbuilding sectors through the development of new systems and technologies for the safety, monitoring and conservation of the marine environment; the development of innovative integrated systems for emergency ann resuce management; the development of new methods and technologies for improving the quality of fish products and strengthening the fishing sector according to a supply chain approach; the creation or optimization of innovative systems and technologies for surface and underwater navigation. Another relevant aspect is territorial security with the idea of ​​supporting the development of new knowledge, innovative technologies and new integrated systems for risk prevention, defense and securing the territory, through the use of solutions based on the use of ICT technologies, which allow an improvement in efficiency in the management of the various matrices, as well as emergencies resulting from environmental catastrophes.
