Protom activity

The TeSCA project - Technologies and Services for Continuity of Care has developed a system that allows the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in the context of assistance to patients affected by chronic diseases based on two phases:
- The first consists of an in-depth analysis of the requirements, aimed at identifying the specific needs of patients suffering from chronic diseases and defining the monitoring objectives and the relevant clinical parameters, followed by the monitoring of the biomedical parameters and the analysis of the requirements;
- In the second, the monitoring and control system was designed, based on IoT devices and a data management platform.

Achieved results

The integration of intelligent devices and an advanced data management platform will allow continuous and personalized monitoring of patients, providing timely support adapted to specific clinical needs and will improve patients' quality of life.
