The project is based on the prospect of developing the technologies and industrial processes of aerostructures in an extremely promising trend, linked to one piece solutions in composite material as an evolution of the one piece barrel paradigm already the heritage of the Boeing 787, declining industrial process innovations according to the paradigms of the intelligent factory in the context of industry 4.0.
The use of composite materials, in addition to giving competitive advantages to the aircraft in terms of weight, opens up industrial optimization scenarios where the one-piece application allows the creation of complete assemblies in a single production cycle to the benefit of costs and the quality of the final product.
